1. To encourage, promote, and improve the skills of JSA’s players and coaches, and to make every effort to identify all JSA players and coaches who would like to be considered for the Competitive Soccer Program.

2. To implant in all participants ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and safety. 

3. To provide an opportunity for JSA players to participate in Rhode Island Youth Soccer Competitive League tournaments, District Competition, ODP play as well as Premier Divisions, and any other play as deemed appropriate.

The Jamestown Youth Soccer Association (JSA) was founded over 25 years ago to organize and sponsor a recreational youth soccer league for the Jamestown RI community.  Now JSA also sponsors a competitive program in the spring and fall for more serious and skilled players.
 

JSA is run by a volunteer board of directors and numerous volunteer coaches and funded through player participation fees, team sponsorships, and concession stand sales on game days. 

Although the physical land is owned by the town, JSA is responsible for the Eldred Avenue fields, including equipment purchases and field maintenance. Prior to every Fall and Spring season, JSA volunteers must design, layout and paint perimeter lines for the fields and coordinate a re-painting each week.
